Warranty Policy - Intellibed

WARRANTY OVERVIEW

The following warranty information only applies to mattresses purchased directly from Intellibed in the U.S.A. If you purchased a mattress from one of our authorized retailers, please contact them for their warranty policy.

What Can Void the Mattress Warranty

Warranty only applies to the original purchaser
Stains, rips, tears, and odors void your warranty
If the bed has been used on an inadequate “slat platform” or base – slats need to be two inches wide and no more than two inches apart.

Foundations must have center support that runs horizontal and vertical
Queen mattress or larger need to have additional leg support in the middle of the base or platform.

What is Required to Make a Warranty Claim

Prior to August 2010, the minimum measurable sag must be 1.5 inches or more. After August 2010, the minimum measure sag is 0.75 inches
You must have your original receipt to file a warranty issue
The original tags must still be intact and attached to the bed
Mattresses must have been stored and used on a flat surface

You must rotate your mattress once a month for the first six months and once every six months thereafter. You rotate head to foot, do not flip the mattress over.

Note: Normal wear and tear is not covered under the warranty

EXCEPTIONS & HISTORICAL CHANGES

ORIGINAL WARRANTY AND SUBSEQUENT CHANGES

Prior to August 2010

Prorated 30 year warranty – The first 10 years are full warranty and years 10-30 are prorated. Unless the customer is using an adjustable base with their mattress, then it is a 20-year warranty and prorated after the first 10 years. The mattress must sag at least 1.5 inches or more to qualify as a warranty concern.

September 2010 – August 2017

Prorated 30 year warranty – The first 10 years are full warranty and years 10-30 are prorated. Unless the customer is using an adjustable base with their mattress, then it is a 20-year prorated after first 10 years. Mattress must sag at least 0.75 inches to qualify as a warranty issue.

September 2017 – Present

Full 20 year warranty – The mattress must sag at least .75 inches or more to qualify as a warranty concern.

Gel Elite Mattress

Prorated 20 year warranty – Prorated after 10 years. Adjustable base drops the warranty to a full 10 year warranty with no proration period after the first 10 years. Requires 1.5 inches of sag if purchased prior to Aug 2010. After Aug 2010, it needs to sag .75 inches or more to qualify as a warranty concern.
